Gastroenterologists in Murfreesboro????

I need your suggestions/advice-if you have been to a gastro doc in Murfreesboro, please post here to let me know who and if you were satisfied-I am having some pain and have already been to gyn to r/o female issues-I have not had bariatric surgery yet-plan to next yr Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know anyone in Murfreesboro, but I would highly recommend Sue Lee at Summit Hospital!  She is awesome and has been my Gastro Intestinologist (sp?) for about 10 years.

Hi sweetie, I go to Dr. Roy Hood, I really like him, he know his stuff, and he took very good care of me. He is at 1004 N. Highland At the surgical center. Hope this helps. Hugs sweetie.

I got on my insurance's web site and found that most of the ones listed in Murfreesboro were part of the clinic on highland.  I ended up making an appt with Hood before I even saw your reply-just because he was the one with the shortest wait time that coincided with the days I could come.  i just hate making an appt with someone I have no clue about but when you are hurting you'll do anything... Good to hear that someone has been to him and likes him-I am going Feb 29th-if I can hold out that long....

Hi cystak, mine is in Smyrna.  Dr. Herring.  He does all the procedures at his Southern Hills Office,  He's very easy to get an appointment with and to get the necessary tests ordered.  He ordered a MRI on my upper right side because I kept throwing up bile..  I had the MRI a week ago and I get the results in the morning.  Granted I have luekemia and the cancer in my blood affects my organs, but in his Smyrna office it's never busy.  I always get in and out in no time.  If you want his number let me know.   Kathy
