Tomorrow I will be 6 weeks post op. I saw Dr Bolar today (in an ice storm). I have lost 33 pounds since surgery! He said I was doing great and could progress to regular diet. My sister saw me yesterday for the first time since surgery. Talk about a "WOW" moment. Ya'll are right, the accolades and the increased energy help make this worth it! Marilyn

Marilyn, That is great news. I am so happy to hear that you are feeling better too. Sounds like you were able to get the nausea thing under control. Good for you. You gotta love the "WOW" moments...
