I'm 2 years old today!!
Thank you for the early posting Shelia! I loved my card, and pin. I will wear it with pride.
Hubby and I were sitting on the couch this morning enjoying our morning coffee. I turned to him and asked if he knew where we were 2 years ago at this very hour. Now, he's not one to keep up with dates and such so when I told him we were at Baptist Hospital waiting area his reaction was, "Has it really been 2 years already?"
It has been an amazing journey thus far. So much has changed in addition to my physical appearance. In the past 2 years I have regained my health and my self esteem is better than it has been in ages. I have lost friends and made many new ones. The Lunch Bunch has evolved from a group of 4 new and pre-ops meeting for the first time in a warehouse breakroom to an average attendance of a dozen or more. I have seen so many people move through all of the stages of approval to surgery to restored health. I have also seen those same people paying forward what they have learned along the way.
I am blessed to have been able to have this lifesaving and life changing surgery. I am doubly blessed to have all of the members of this forum, the Lunch Bunch, the Dinner Club and the Baptist Metabolic Surgery Center and Staple Club as part of my family.
I am ready for the next phase of the journey and look forward to sharing many more wonderful moments with every one of you.
Thank you all for your support, your prayers, and your friendship.

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you go girl!!!!!!!!!!! you look awesome. You do so much for this board . You are such a inspiration to us all. Thanks for starting the Lunch Bunch, it for sure has been a huge success. I can only imagine how I will look and feel two years out. I don't know what I would have done with you and this board. Thanks and I am praying for you a speedy recovery on your next journey.

Congratulations, Susan!
I am so happy for you and so appreciative that you have been so willing to mentor those of us who are on this journey. You are such a giving person and a true friend! I know that you will have a successful plastic surgery because I know that you have already done your research and you most likely already know what it coming! I think you are a beautiful person inside and out and I am so proud to be your friend!
Kisses!
