Hello, I am one week from my lap band surgery date which means I am also one week into my pre op diet. Man oh man am I grouchy. Can someone give me some support or even sympathy. Actually I feel a little better this a.m. because I realized this week of torture has netted me 5 less pounds. That makes 33 since i started this journey. I am glad that I have to work for it, but man is it hard.

That pre-op diet is no fun and certainly not easy. You are doing great, losing  33 lbs already you are already on your way. Keep up the hard work your day will be here before you know it !

Sweet girlie we all went through it and I agree...it is no fun!  Just think though...in a week you will be all done with your surgery and well on your way to being a loser!  It is sooooo worth it!!!  I drank a lot of warm chicken broth when I did my liquid diet.  Between the broth and the sugar free popcicles...I survived and I know that you will too!  We're all cheering for you!!! Congrats Jennifer on your 33 pound weight loss. That is fantastic! Hang in there on the diet. It will be the hardest thing you will have to do and once it is over, you will be able to look back at all you accomplished. And say, I did that. I can't believe I did that but I did that! Just keep your eyes on the prize and remember why you are doing all this. To lose weight to become healthy. You can do it!

I remember feeling so tired and I really was grouchy even if I would not admit it then. Hang in there you are almost done with the pre-op and it will all be worth it. You have done great! 33 pounds is awesome.....be proud of what you have already accomplished! One day you will be sitting on the losers bench and look back and think that wasn't so bad......Hang in there and know that you are in my prayers!
