Question from Alabama Member

Hello to everyone in TN! Next to here at home...I love Nashville! A quick question, has anyone here used Dr. Donald Griffin for plastics? I had some surgery back in 2003 performed by he and Dr. Dean Knoll at Centennial. Dr. Knoll has strongly suggested, due to prior history, that I use Dr. Griffin again. Just wanting to get any thoughts you folks have on him for weight loss related plastic surgery. Thanks! Tommy Dothan, AL

Don't know about plastic surgery by Dr. Knoll.. thought he was a urologist?  I could swear that's who I just got done seeing a few weeks ago when I had a kidney stone?  My old roommate had Dr. Griffin.  He did a face lift and chin lift....  and also a belt lipectomy with mons reduction.  His name is Mike.  You can go to my friends site, and find him.  Email him. I hope he sees this site...  Anwyay, I went to Dr. Griffin for a breast augmentation consult.  I liked him a lot, he answered all my questions before I asked them.  He even gave me more informatoin than I was ready to hear...  I am not going to do the augmentation right now as some of the info he gave kind of scared me...  just not quite ready to deal with some of the issues yet.  He will not tell you something just to get your business.  He is honest, very up front, and he has a book of patients that he has done procedures on that he will let you look at... all men...  the ones I saw were all women.  So I reviewed a book of procedures that he did on weight loss surgery patients, as well as a book of breast augmentations.  He is the doctor who performed a revision surgery on a lady who was on tv who had lost a bunch fo weight...  if you google him, Dr. Donald Griffin, you will come across her site.  Mike loved him.  He gave Mike much more info than my plastic surgeon had given to me...

Melinda, Yes Dr. Knoll is a urologist. He started my surgery as it was urological in nature and Dr. Griffin had to do some plastic work. So i've seen them both. Dr. Knoll is my hero as far as urologist go. He is the bomb. Thanks! Tommy

Hey Tommy, I went to Dr Griffin.  I think he is about the best plastic surgeon out there.  I did a lot of research on him.  He is very caring and honest and will tell you up front if he thinks the surgery will be beneficial to you. I had a neck and face lift and what he calls a Trunk Lepictomy.  I am so very happy with the results.  His staff is great too.  Linda is at the front desk and is great.  Carla is his nurse and is very sweet, kind, caring and knows what she is doing.  If I have anything else done, I will go to him.
