Lulu Roman - today's Tennessean

There is an article in today's Tennessean (Section D, Sunday Life).  You must read it. I sat here and cried.  How so very much I can relate to how she feels...  I know you can too. The sub title is "INSPIRATION / LULU ROMAN"

Wow, all the times watching her as on TV as lil girl never thought of her hurting inside, just as a character acting . I always saw her as  a women with a big heart.  Bless her heart, such a heart of gold, and the things that she must of gone through as child, god bless her. Thanks for sharing this article hon. Very Inspirational article....I am glad that our culture has changed a bit...The memories I have of Hee Haw made it seem like the thing to do to make fun of people who were over weight....every week.  I felt her pain after my weight gain and can remember the sick jokes, snide comments, etc.

I am so happy that she has turned her life around. Maybe this article will reach out to those who are silently in pain, and let them know that if LuLu can do it...they can too!
