OK Tim asked what in the world we are going to eat...  Olive Garden is a lot of pasta.  I don't really know the answer to that question...  So SusieQ and others who eat there, what should I order?  I love chicken anything...

You can go to www.olivegarden.com and it has thier menu listed. You are right they have a lot of pasta. I was wondering if they may let us order from kids menu caude they have a grilled chicken that comes with broccoli.

     Venetian Apricot Chicken

Grilled chicken breasts in an apricot citrus sauce. Served with broccoli, asparagus and diced tomatoes. This sounds good and you can probably ask for it without broccoli

Hey Mel and Juanita!!!

I have been to the Olive Garden and have gotten the Apricot Chicken Breast....it comes with 2 good sized breasts...so it would be plenty to share or do what I did and take one breast home.  It was wonderful and the vegetables were very good as well. I was satisfied but not so full that I felt sick. The apricot sauce didn't have so much sugar that it affected me..it just added a light fruity sweetness...but it was not smothered in it. It was just right.  Great recommendation Juanita....I'll second your suggestion. I passed on the soup, salad, and bread or I would have been too full and felt sick. By the way...y'all are looking great!!!!! LuvMissy   (Susan)

I had planned on attending with my husband, but we will not be able to make it tonight.  I was so looking forward to meeting everyone.  Maybe at a lunch group meeting or support group soon. Thanks for keeping me informed. Probably good, OG is hard to pass up, I am still working on my 10%---but only 1-2 pounds away. Sherry

I'm thinking that Apricot Chicken looks pretty good. That's something Bill and I can share. He is not a huge fan of the Olive Garden so we didn't go there much before my surgery.  I will be bringing his salad dressing because he doesn't eat Italian dressing and that is all they have, we'll just have them bring him some salad without dressing.
