I saw a lady in charge of the weight loss program at Baptist... she works in the wellness center... she looked vaguely familiar so I strained my eyes across the aisle to see her name badge... I said, "I thought you looked familiar! I went through the Succeed program..." She looked me up and down and said, "Really?" as if I were telling here some kind of story. She asked my name, I told her... she said she would have never recognized me! She asked, "Have you been back to the program? You should come visit..." I said Yes, that each quarter of new members, I get asked to come and represent my surgery. She said "Good." And said she would tell the leader hello for me... that made me feel good.
See...you may see the old Melinda when you look in the mirror but others can't believe you were ever overweight.
You continue to inspire future success stories.
