Lap Band Support Group

Centennial is considering resuming a support group for lap band patients only. If this is something you might be interested in please let me know. Much Love

I actually had lap-band surgery in Jan 06 but I had it with Dr. Morton who was then at Southern Hills but he is now with Baptist so I don't know if this would count but I would like to go to some meeting sometime.

FYI,         Baptist holds an Lap-Band support group called the Bandsters on the second Thursday of each month, it is open to everyone regardless as to where or when you had your surgery!!   Just thought I would let you know, the RNY groups are the same way, but held on the first Tuesday of each month. Both groups meet at 5:30 in the BMSC. Shelia

I received an email from them that said that they were considering a gastric bypass group only.  I would be interested in a lap band group. 

It's  quite far for me to go to Nashville  ( 290 miles round trip straight there & back)although my Dr, Dyer is there and I must travel there from time to time... maybe if they have one during the day-- no evenings and  it is  for lap band patients, I will consider going .. I think it would be fun  to meet and  compare notes and just meet others who have had the band!

I would like to attend meetings here locally.  Live in Mt. Juliet but go to Dr. Curry for fills as needed.  I would probably do better to attend support. Leanne
