So sad... Yet glad... I'm NOT ORIGINAL
Well I thought long and hard on creating an Almond Joy AND Mounds protein shake...
I came up with a good idea...
Then today I was on Davinci's site: davincigourmet.com and found out I am a rip off artist... Yes its true... the Almond Joy shake has been created... BUT NOT for wls patients! I have revised it... that puts an end to me riding on the coattails of Davinci and coming up with some wonderful new recipes... and to think I could have been rich.
Oh wait... protein packets are free. Dang. Lost out again!
ok. so don't stop there! Share away! How do we make it? I have the DaVinci coconut and I have some almond extract --- do I just use some Any Whey protein? How much of the syrup/extract? And I add some chocolate syrup too? Or would you use the Choc. Matrix w/ the coconut/almond?
I'm really very challenged when it comes to stuff like this!

Just go to davincigourmet.com and there is a recipe box on the lower left... click on the arrow, and click on the kind of davinci syrup you have... it will give you some recipes. But make sure to check the syrups that are not sugar free... because they are not duplicated into the sugar free syrups... you can use the regular syrup ideas but make sure to use your sugar free syrups!
Anyway, here is Almond Joy Steamer and then I will revise it to what I'd do..
1/3 oz davinci SF Coconut syrup
1/3 oz chocolate syrup
1/3 oz almond sugar free syrup
steamed milk (10-12 oz)
I would just create your vanilla protein shake, using whatever BRAND ... OR you could use Hood milk.... steam it up... add the syrups. Whalaa! Of course the protein shake would be cold, but the steamed milk would be hot... whichever you prefer... Or if you wanted, you could use labrada vanilla or another ready to drink vanilla and use that hot or cold (like micellar milk)
You could also use a chocolate ready to drink, leave out the chocolate syrups because you already have that flavor in your drink or shake mix.
Some others I found are: The Elvis (peanut butter, banana), Red Hots (cinnamon & vanilla), Cocoa Krispy (toasted marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla), Snickers, Milky Way, Turtles Sundae, Divinity, Coconut Cream Pie, Candied Apple, Banana Cream Pie, Chocolate Cherry, Reeses, Key Lime Pie, Cherry cola float, Heath, Reeses, cinnamon bun, caramello latte, Rockky Road, Lemon Meringue....
I didn't see it but thought of one for banana pudding.
There are so many recipes... you just have to make sure you use some type of protein liquid base whether its a ready to drink or protein powder... or Hood milk... they have steamers, breves (which are too much cause they use 5+ oz of half & half... too much for us), cappuccinos, coffees, etc. I guess it just depends on which you like best....
