Just wanted to let you folks know of some info I got yesterday. DH and I was there y and got a coupon good from now until 2/29 for $49.95 a room any day of the week. They said that it can be duplicated, so if anyone would like one just let me know. I will have some copies Sat at the Dinner Club, or if you are not going to be there, I can scan it to my computer and email it to you. This is a real nice park, well kept, seen lots of deers, the restaurnt food is great, with a breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet for only $7.50 I'm not real sure, but the dinner might be a little higher. There is a great view of the lake if you can get a window seat while you eat. I know alot of us don't get our money's worth from a buffet, but the menu was about the same price maybe a little bit higher. They would not give me the kiddie price for the buffet, nor could I order from the kiddie menu. They only type of discount they would do would be to order from the menu and split it with someone. So if any of you want to get away with your honey and spend some quality time together for a night or two, this would be a great idea. After all Valentine's Day is coming up (hint..hint) I hope DH reads this one...........hehehe. Hope all is having a great Sunday and doing well. Cheryl

I live very close to Montomery Bell and yes, it't a great place.  They have a decent buffet, and I have been there for my Company Xmas party.  I've never rented rooms there since we live so close but I heard they are pretty decent. Rob

I worked for TN state parks for almost 3 years. Monkey Bell...as it is affectionally called it, is a gorgeous park! I've stayed there several times. I'm pretty sure you can get that rate at any time during the winter. Winter rates are always cheaper for all state parks :-) Valentines day is coming up to0 so I'm sure they have a "romance" package of some sort. For more information, you can go to www.tnstateparks.com
