Question

Did anyone have the burning sensation around the drain port hole? That seems to be an issue today. Every time I get up I get a burning feeling in the incision area. Its not leaking any drainage. It does look alittle red around the incision. Other then that I feel really good.

I will be honest.... I had some burning in my incisions and even near the areas...  when I got up and down, it hurt too... I think this is normal from what I remember, but you may just want to give the surgeon a call on Monday bu****ch it very carefully over the weekend... if it gets red, puffy or swollen, call him this weekend... 

If memory serves, the burning feeling is from your body beginning to heal.  It will probably start to itch as well.   It has been 3 years since my surgery so I cant remember for sure but I think that if you are not having unusual pain, it is beginning to heal.  You might call your dr office and clear it with the nurse just to be safe. My belly itches all over! LOL, I believe that is healing. I just wasn't sure about the burning. ~gidget

Yes and it may be sore for awhile especially from what I can remember on the far left side where they put the big instruments in. Lisa you look great!  I dont remember seeing you on here before...  good seeing you!
