I love scrolling through craigslist. You can find some really great bargains! I have only bought one thing from someone off there though...not the best experience I've had. It was a glider and ottoman. I had been looking for one for the baby's room...but they are pretty expensive and the cheaper ones are just too small and my butt is too big! Anyways, hubby and i found one from this lady in hendersonville.... "excellent used condition" for $35. The wood matched our furniture and the fabric was blue - perfect for what I wanted. Well we go pick it up...hubby, bless his heart, is very tender hearted and would do anything for anyone. Well this glider was FAR from "excellent used condition." It was rickety, scratched up from abuse, and there were stains and animal hair all over the fabric/cushions. Anyways, so hubby buys it anyways and gives her an extra $5. He felt so bad for this lady...house full of kids. He said "she looked like she needed the money." So I was like okay. So we ended up "rebuilding" this glider/ottoman. Sanded it down, tightened loose screws and added wood glue and what not, stained the wood, purchased new foam and fabric to make our own seat cushions and ottoman cushion with the help of my mother in law. She is very handy with a sewing machine. So...we ended up spending an additional $100 on top of the $40 for our "bargain" hahaha. Oh well, you live and learn right?? Glad you found a great deal!!

I sure love a great BARGAIN!!!  It makes me feel like I hit the lottery, since that will probably not happen, but it makes me feel pretty happy!!  Don't get me wrong, but I would not mind experience the lottery winning thing though!!! LOL
