Jeannie, I also go to Baptist Metabolic Surgery Center but my doctor is Dr. Morton. I love everyone in the office there, they are so nice and so helpful. I am betting you have an easy time and if you want to know anything about the lapband let me know and I will see if I can help you out. Also, you might want to post on the Lap-Band Forum to get some replies, it is a good place for information.

Welcome to the Tennessee Forum! I had my surgery at Baptist.  My surgeon is Dr. Spaw.  I love the folks there!!!  You couldn't be in better hands (in my opinion!) Good luck with your surgery and keep on posting so that we can keep up with your progress! Freddie

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! I am excited to report that I will be meeting with Dr. McDowell tomorrow to schedule my surgery! Welcome to the Tn board and to OH ! I havent had surgery at Baptist,,yet... :) My surgery is Mid Feb,,,Baptist has a great facility and I know the Metabolic Surgery Center is highly rated ,,my Dr is also there :)  your in good hand's !

Hey Sherry,  I am a neighbor of yours!.  I live very close to pleasant view!.  I had my surgery @ centennial.  I had RNY August 6,2007.  I have lost 82.5 lbs and have 17.5 to go.  It has been an adventure.  I have a relative/friend who also lives in Pleasant view.  She had lapband done September 6th @ Vandy.  She is doing great, though I have to spoken to her in a few weeks.    I wish you all the best.  It will be a breeze.   I wish you all the best.   My email is [email protected] if you want to talk
