I ended up getting my surgery, just a day later then I was supposed to. So I had my rebirth on 11 January. I feel alright after a rough start. Dealt with fevers, and nausea at the hospital. I had to stay an extra day. I feel pretty good. Just trying to learn to get all this water and protein in.

That 16.5 lbs lost has been since I had surgery. I can't believe that I have lost that much in just a few days. I need some ideas on how to get more protein in? Is it possible to mix unflavored whey with the liquids I am taking in?

Yes, I found that AnyWhey worked better than any of the others.  I have added it to my Crystal Light and it just seems to make it creamy and does not really alter the taste.  Just do not add it until you are going to consume it, because protein does not stay active for more than 24 hours, in which it needs to be in a closed container.  You are doing great and Welcome to the Losers Bench!! Congrats on your weight loss so far. You are doing great. I am glad to hear that you are at home and recouperating. Take it easy and sip, sip, sip - which is easier said than done. I know! Keep up the great work.

Wow, 16 pounds in one week! You rock!! Glad you are feeling better and you find it easier each day to get your water & protein. You do know that you can add the Any Whey to warm liquids too? Try adding it to broth and bouillion. Just make sure to use some cold liquid first to make a paste and that the warm liquid you add is no hotter than coffee from a drip coffeemaker. If protein gets too hot, it curdles and there is no way you will be able to choke it down then. BLECH!
