Hope everyone is doing well, I know that have been really busy lately due to school, work, and family, not to mention having the flu during the holidays, but I seem to be doing really well now, just hope to get my finals completed this weekend!!!

I thought I would post this, because I have been wondering if any you would be interested in serving on the committee for the Nashville Walk From Obesity for Children’s Health this year. I am the chairperson this year and I am currently recruiting volunteers to help serve on a committee or to chair/co-chair a sub-committee.  One of my goals is to have individuals from all programs to serve on the committee and to aid in the recruitment of others in their area to help make this years walk, bigger and better than ever!!!!

At the current moment, I plan on the "Main" committee meeting once a month with our first meeting scheduled on 2-11-08 @ 4:00 PM here in Nashville @ Athena, then the sub-committees can meet separately to get things organized.  If you think you would be interested or may know of someone that would be interested in sponsorship, you can either PM me here or send me an e-mail at [email protected].  I greatly appreciate your help in this area, I know with everyone’s busy schedules, it is difficult, but we must ban together to fight the growing epidemic of obesity!!!

  Thanks,  Shelia Bess

Hey Shelia, Phil and I will be more than gald to help with whatever. They asked at the support group meeting Thursday for volunteers and I think they had several to sign up. It would probably work best for us  getting to the meetings if he and I were on the same committe, if that is ok. We will talk later today, we allready have some great ideas. Cheryl
