I am sitting here tonight, hardly believing that Monday morning at 5:30 I will be checking into Baptist Hospital in Nashville; and around 7:30, Dr. Spaw will be performing this amazing surgery on me. I have dreamed of being "regular" sized for so long. I want to be able to buy my suits and sportcoats off the rack, not from Omar the Tentmaker. I want to be able to fit into a booth at McDonald's with my little girl. And after Monday, I will finally have the tool I have needed all this time to finally make this happen.
I want to thank God, my wife, my church family, and all my friends here on the OH DS, TN and Men's Forums. You have given me hope when I couldn't see any. You have kept me going when I wanted to give up. And most of all, I believe you really do care about me and all the other people wanting, waiting, and fighting for the DS. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
