Lap Band Groups & Other Bandsters
Are there any open Lap Band specific support groups in Nashville?
Also, any other bandsters out there? I know you are out there. If you do not mind either respond to this thread or send me a message either here or to [email protected]

There are plenty of bandsters out here but I mostly hang out on the lap-band forum. I don't go to the support meetings because I have to be at work at 2:00am so I have to go to bed early.
If you need anything or want to ask any questions you can e-mail me at [email protected] and I will try to help you as best I can.
Paul,
I am another Lap-bander want-to-be. I haven't been to a meeting yet, but have taken part in a 12 week supervised exercise, nutrition, information sessions about the different types of WLS's available. I am currently working towards my 10% loss required by insurance...(getting close with 6 more pounds to loose). Maybe at next months meeting at Baptist, we can both go and meet some of the others. The second Thursday of the month will be Valentine's Day... I wonder if the meeting will be changed?? If anyone has this answer, please post so everyone knows.

Just as an FYI...neither the Lunch Bunch nor the Dinner Club discriminates by type of surgery. We welcome everyone to get involved and we have a wonderful time.
Cheryl is a bandster and she has become an active member of both groups. I'm sure she would love to have more bandsters get involved so you all can share surgery specific tips and issues as well as the rest of the fellowship and the clothing swaps.
