Psyc Eval....
Ok.... does anyone have someone they would like to refer for my Psyc Eval? I was trying to get in to see Dr O'Bryan who was refered to me by Dr Morton's office. But he wants $220 up from and then reimberse me after my insurance pays.... I don't have that to pay up front when I'm trying to save money for the surgery...

Thank you very much. My insurance covers with a $20 co-pay. It's just that Dr. O'Bryan wanted the full about up front and then get it back to me after my insurance paid which you never know how long that can take.
But thank you very much I will call her office in the morning and see if they are in-network for my insurance.

Laura,
I do not mean to be the possible bearer of bad news, but my insurance did not cover the Psyc Eval, therefore I had to pay the 295.00 myself, so you may want to see if your insurance covers this expense or not. I had trouble understanding why mine did not cover it, because they required it for my surgery approval, but it was worth it.
Good Luck!!

Trust me, I did not have the extra money either, I have Cigna POS insurance with the State!!!!

Thank you everyone for your good insight. I'm going to work on calling other docs for the Psyc Eval and let you know where I get.
I have talked to my insurance company and the funny thing is they don't require the Eval but Dr Morton does... and I am NOT switching surgeons cause I heard he is the BEST. But my insurance DOES cover the Psyc Eval and I already got my authorization number from them to go get it.
If anyone has anymore info feel free to still leave a reply.
THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYONE!!!
