Hello, I just wondered if anyone had any exprience with or heard anything about either Dr. Joseph Delozier, or Dr. Patrick Maxwell in Nashville...I had my 3rd plastic surgery consult today, and it's time to decide who will do my plastic surgery, so thought I would see if anyone on here might have some feedback.  Thanks. Dr. Delozier came and spoke to our support group a few months ago. He was very sweet and very easy to talk to...and not bad looking either!! LOL He is one I was considering until I found that my insurance wouldn't cover the hernia repair I need done because he does his surgeries at his own surgery clinic. My insurance requires the surgery be done at a facility not owned by the surgeon. I have my first consult next Monday with Dr. Lois Wagstrom.

good luck with your consult, shoot me an email if you wanna compare notes on what the PS says...My first consult was with Dr. Delozier, and I liked him right away, then someone told me about Dr. Maxwell, and how he is "world famous"...I was really hoping that I would go see him, and be so blown away that my decision was made for me, but that wasn't the case.  I've decided to go back to Dr. Delozier to answer a few more questions that I have thought of since the initial consult, and then make my decision...I specifically asked Dr. Delozier about doing the surgery in the hospital, and he said that that was no problem, although he does most of the surgeries in his own office/OR-I just think I'd feel better about being in a hospital, and staying at least one night...he said if that made me more comfortable, that was what we would do...
