Good Luck, You'll get approved.   I just joined this site over the weekend.  I am still in my pre-surgery weight loss stage and feels like it taking forever.   How long have you been working on the pre-surg list of things, including lossing the 10%?   Please give me any pointers you have to get through the last few pounds. My goal is the last 6-8 pounds by the end of January then I can schedule my appointment for the consultation with Dr. Morton as well.  Another friend went the week before Christmas and her claim was submitted, but she is still waiting as of yesterday.  Is your insurance BCBS of TN??

Good luck to both of you. Dr. Morton is also my doctor. They get things approved pretty fast, if I can remember it was just about 3 weeks that everything was approved then they set the surgery up very quickly after that.  You wil like Dr. Morton, he is very good!!!

Also, if both of you want to hang out on the lap-band forum it is very informative.
