Need Info On Appeal

Thanks Darlene,     I hope I get approved so I can get back to the Jackson meetings. It is depressing going when everyone is so sucessful & I am still no where in my approval. Is Melanie still still going? Ellen

Mel hasn't been in a while, she has been traveling alot.  I am sorry it depresses you, we are suppose to help .  We do have more coming now who are in the before process than we used to.  Hope you will start coming back, but I understand.  Our next meeting is on Jan 22nd.

Ellen, I am going to Dr. Weaver.  I have all my approvals, testing done, and will see Dr. Weaver on 2/21/08 for a surgery date.  From what I have experienced with her office, I would call and talk to Leslie or Kat (nutritionist) about what you have run into.  I have BCBS Federal plan, went thru in 3 weeks.  I know they know what to do, and I would ask them for help. You can tell them Sharon Davis sent you, since I am one of their patients. Sharon/Memphis

Ellen, Yes I have been approved for surgery and see Dr Weaver on 2/21/08 for the actual surgery date. Sharon

I will know more monday...I would go to a different doc if i were you...if you did all that and they didnt even seem interested in an appeal that would really tick me off...I definitely know that the surgeons office has to be very savy at the ins game!!! Good Luck ...I will post when I find something else out!
