Tristate Surgical Weight Loss center, getting together!!

Hey you guys..many of you may remember the event sponsored by Tristate Surgical Weight Loss Center ( Northern, Kentucky) in April.  Well, we are at it again.  This time the date is May 31st.  At the Marriott near the airport.  The 2008 event is going to be incredible.  I met with Taryn (Clincal Coordinator) yesterday to get things rolling.  
This of course is something Dr. Sonnanstine gives to his patients and is free to anyone attending.  You do not need to be a pt of the center. If you are bringing guests you may want to sign up early.. We will have guest speakers, educational and motivational. Banders and RNY patients will have the opportunity to learn and participate.. Not to mention the dozens of vendors.   Watch for more information as we start putting things together.
Dr. Sonnanstine will also have a pre-op session again this year so if you are searching or know someone who is, this is a great event to attend.  For those of us further out, it's the perfect opportunity for a fun time get together and learning experience all in one!!

Is this at the Marriott near the airport here in Nashville?

Cheryl, I am so sorry I didn't put the state or area.  NO it's actually in N.Ky near Cincinnati right by the Greater Cincinnati airport (CVG).  A group from Tenn attended last year and had a blast, I promised I would post when I got the word. I am going around correcting the post now to add the state.  If I can give you any more information like hotel rooms, etc.  Please let me know.  I will be posting pretty often as we get more updated info. Brenda, that is no problem, I go to Franklin KY a couple of times a month to play bingo, so I know a little bit about KY. Since this is on a Sat is it a all day thing? Do some folks come up like the Friday before and make a weekend trip out of it? If you do have more details by all means let me know and any other inforamtion would be greatly appreciated. Last year was our first year so we didn't have a photographer per se.  This year however, we will.  I think we have pics posted on different folks profiles, I will try to figure out whose and get that info posted for you. I will be posting as we update and get things together, yesterday was our first meeting so we don't have our speakers confirmed and don't want to confuse things until we know..so I will post as I go along..I will get my profile up and running posting on it regularly speakers, vendor, etc. and yes several folks spent the night before the event, we have the hotel booked from 8am until 5pm... I know for sure there will be a fashion show, lunch will be provided...but other than Dr. Sonnanstine and I couldn't say for sure who will be speaking at this time..but we will pack them in and have speakers running up to 3-4 rms...please get a group together then send me a list of names!!
