Unjury... ?

Okay, does anyone have any experience with this protein supplement?  I'd just like to find out what I can before I spend money on it.  My short lived experience with protein has been horrible - I get sick every time I sip a protein drink and I have tried many, many brands.  Someone told me that you can mix unjury (powder form?) in with food and it doesn't change the consistency or texture or taste and you can get plenty of protein in with it.  Anyone have anything to offer up?  I'm one week out and getting desperate knowing that I have to get some protein in somewhere!  I don't want to start losing my hair!  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Hope everyone is doing well today...

My personal experience is that I did not like it, but a lot of people do.  I just choked it down until I could go back to EAS shakes.  Good luck, I hope you find something you can tolerate. Kim

Personally, I couldn't swallow the Unjury.  It just didn't work for me.  My favorites are Micellar Milk with instant espresso powder, AchievOne, and Whey Gourmet.  All are delicious and I drink one or two of those almost everyday!

Right now I am drinking a lot of Micellar Milk.  You can get it at the Vitamin Shoppe.

Hope this helps!

I couldn't choke down the Unjury either. I used Any Whey for my unflavored protein powder to add to soups, applesauce, and other stuff that I didn't want to alter the taste of. For flavored protein powders, I recommend: From The Vitamin Shoppe   Designer Whey   Syntrax Nectar - limited flavors   Matrix 5.0 - limited flavors   The Vitamin Shoppe brand protein pudding mix - chocolate and vanilla flavors From bariatriceating.com   Whey Gourmet - also available at Netrition.com   AchievOne   Syntrax Nectar - larger variety of flavors than local The Vitamin Shoppe stores I also use a lot of Da Vinci sugar free syrups to enhance or "tweak" the flavor variety of my protein drinks.  What area of town are you in? I would be willing to get some samples of what I have to you so you can try before you buy. I live in Madison but work in the Murfreesboro Rd area near Purity Dairy. Edited to add: I see now that you are in Chattanooga. I could send you some samples if you want to PM an address to me.

Susan... that would be SUCH a blessing to me!  After all of the negatives on unjury, I don't want to try it either.  I think I will see about ordering the sample pack, though.  I'm eight days out and I have to get some protein down. I'll PM my addy to you... We have a Vitamin Shoppe here.  That's where I got all the different liquid protein stuff that I can't choke down. Okay, I'll send my addy now... if you want to put yours on the package, I will be glad to pay you or reimburse you anything it cost's you to do this.  How very sweet of you! Thanks so much! Stacey

Unjury has been the only powder that I could handle, although I didn't like the Strawberry flavor.  The unflavored is exactly that.  I wouldn't say there is no change to flavor or texture with the powder, but it's not bad at all. They do have sample packs that you can order before buying a whole canister, and I think I had seen a post once that they'll refund if you don't like it (but don't hold me to that) Jenny

They have free samples I like taking the liquid because it is gone in two TBS and I am done and I don't have to nurse anything 3 times a day and boom all done and that 45 grams of protein and I can eat the small portions and not try to shove all that protein in between shakes and water and food. I can take it and drink my water.

I vote liquid protein

Thanks so much for all the replies, everyone.  Saw the doctor today and I'm down two more pounds (yay, Lord!)  I'll be sure to start getting the protein in ASAP and the water intake is going much better, too.   Thanks everyone!  Have a Blessed Day! Stacey
