This website was truly a God-send for me while I was going through my approval process, and then waiting for surgery.... I got so much information, the people on here are like an extended family, and are so genuine in their wanting to help.

I am from your area - and have family and my best friend lives in Church Hill... so I was thrilled to see a "homegirl"!

I am here Joyce if you need anything - I am not an expert by no means, but I am 7 months out from surgery, and thankfully the Lord has blessed me with success in my journey.

I was so scared that no one would reply to my message and I can't count the ones who did. Yes, I am scared and now I know that all of you will help me with my journery. Thank each of you...please keep on sending messages. I am having surgery in January, don't know the date..I will be in Johnson City..even though I live in Kingsport, TN. Please keep me in prayers, and thoughts. Let me know if you have had surgery in J.C.

Welcome Joyce, I am orignally from Johnson City and will be up there in February. Which site are you trying to get on? This is the TN forum for everyone. What type of surgery did you have? There is the general form, the lap-band, the DS forum, over 50 and just about anything else you can think of. Debbie
