Charlotte's Sugar Free Spiced Nuts
1 egg white slightly beaten
2 cups Pecan Halves or Walnut Halves
1/3 cup Splenda Granular
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease or spray a cookie sheet.... Some use a silpat (silicone baking sheet) which reduces the added fat to nothing. Mix egg white and pecan halves in bowl until nuts are coated and sticky. Stir together Splenda, cardamom and cinnamon and sprinkle over pecans. Stir until nuts are completely coated. Spread on cookie sheet in single layer and bake about 30 minutes or until toasted. Cool completely.
