Yahoo. I hit 50 lbs!

I love the people to "know someone who had surgery" and think this makes them an expert. NOT!!! You are doing great. Like you said, would you have lost 50 lbs during this time on your own? We all lose at our own pace.  This is a journey to better health. It is not a race and there is no prize for the person who gets there first. We all win the prize of better health, increased self esteem, and outer beauty to match our inner beauty. You are beautiful now and it just gets better from here on. Don't let anyone get you down. Just come here and vent and we will remind you how wonderful you are!! edited to add - at our monthly lucheons, we do a clothing swap. We bring clothes we have shrunk out of and take home new sizes. You don't have to bring clothes to take clothes home. We just like to keep our peeps from being nekkid! Smooch!!! Merry Christmas! Susan

Congrats to you ! You are doing just awesome. Don't listen to how or what others say like you said before surgery 50 lbs would have been almost impossible. You are doing what is good for you and losing slower is better for you anyway so there ! : ) Big hug to you girl and keep up the great work !

a big CONGRATS!!!!!!! you  are feeling good right now !  i can't wait to see 50 gone WOW 50 pounds gone that's awesome!! you go girl,strut your stuff!!! goodwill has half price days too!! that's where i'm going, also your local support group should have clothing exchanges monthly.
