Kathy Newton needs some love....

 

Post Date: 12/10/07 5:37 pm We have a fellow OH buddy that  is a little down on her luck....she is disabled and a VET.... she has had her internet and cable and phone cut off.....she has had several surgeries related to her WLS. She has many many medical issues....... This time of year we ALL need to lift each other up.... I KNOW postage stamps are high.... but if we ALL do something to show our care and concern I believe WE can lift this sweet lady up.  This is her OH link...she comes to the TN board as often as she can get to the Library and the computers have timers!! Grrrrr...she needs our support. I am putting together a care package for her....... If you PM me I will share her mailing address....or you can just leave her messages in her OH PM box.  Come on....Ya'll....it almost Christmas..... SHE is not asking for anything....I am asking you to just show her some love!!! That doesn't cost anyone anything and it makes you feel SOOOO good! If you ever get the pleasure to meet her through OH PM's  or posts you will see  what a treasure she is.     I have never actually met her but I have had many PM's with her. Got a minute? Please PM me her address, I am a state officer in the American Legion Auxiliary and I think we should be able to get her some help that way.  I will try to get her some help.  When I get her address I will find the closest Unit to her and see if they can't help her.  I had been wondering how she was, I knew she was having to go to the library to use the computer. She would never ask for help, but that is what the AMerican Legion does, it helps veterans.  She deserves the help and I will try to see if I can help her. darlene
