Travel advise
Take stuff with you that you know you can tolerate; yogurt, cottage cheese, your protein shakes, etc.
One of the first foods I was able to eat out somewhere was the meat from an Arby's Roast Beef sandwich. I only ate 2 or 3 slices but it didn't give me any problems because it was so tender and moist. I also was able to eat a poached egg from Waffle House (Okay, part of a poached egg.)
Don't try too many new foods at once. Take your time, put your fork down between bites. And, chew, chew, chew!
Many places will allow you to order a la carte. If you don't want the bun, bread, potatoes, etc. on your plate, tell them to leave it off. If they have fried chicken crispers on the menu, ask if they can grill them for you instead. Most places will work with you if at all possible.
I'm sure others will chime in with tips that worked for them.

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
