Newbie to the Board
Hello All my name is Cindy ,
I live in Lavergne Tennessee and i had my procedure August 29 2006 Dr Richard's was my Dr and he was great ...i have lost close to 160 so far i was 342 when i started and the change has been unreal lol to my mind that is
i am married have been for 6 years i have 3 step-children and i work at Lavergne Movie Gallery ..i am hopefully going to be going back to school in the spring to MTSU hopefully .. i have been approved by the state of Tennessee for Vocational Rehabilitation i have a ruptured disc in my back that is the reason i was approved ...the opportunity is a great blessing and i am diving in life is definitely for living and i am planning on it ..i love making new friends and i am a hugger lol affectionate and an encourager by nature i love reading and writing and singing and the outdoors lol cannot wait to get to know ya'll and i am a Christmas Freak lol well for now thank you for having me big hugs and happy Holidays :Cindy

Welcome to the TN board Cindy and Merry Christmas to you too. Congrats on your weight loss. You have done so great. I had my surgery at Vandy too. Mine was with Dr. Torquati. I had mine on 06/22/06 and I was 310 pounds and have lost 160 pounds also.
Are you going to have to have surgery for your back? Did losing weight help that at all? Sorry to hear about that.
Hopefully you can make some of our monthly get togethers. This board has a great group of supportive people and we are happy you are joining it.
