I just made the most wonderful drink!  The recipe is based on the one from my hero, Linda Farnsworth on bariatriceating.com  I didn't have everything she uses so I just kinda made it up as I went but it is fabulous! I used: 2 1/2 cups Hood's Calorie Countdown Dairy Beverage 1/2 cup half and half (can use fat free) 1/2 pkg. Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding powder 6 pkts. Splenda (more or less to taste) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg Mix it up until it is lump free.  As it sits it may thicken a bit but you can just add a little more milk.   Ya'll...this is so wonderful.  If you like eggnog, you are going to love it (guilt free.)

I'm more of a boiled custard person too.  Just leave out the nutmeg and you will have sugar free boiled custard with no boiling.  No kidding...it really tastes great!

I may try this for the family on Christmas. None of them need all of the calories and fat in the regular stuff either. I do so love my egg nog protein shake though.
