kinda mad at me and needing to see a gastro doc IS MY POUCH BROKEN THIS is what I ate...

I saw my pcp today she had this surgery about a year ago. anyways I still have nause she said that sometimes a pouch of food gets stuck in there and kinda rots that maybe causeing the nausea and gas and bloating problems........ I stay hungry grrrrrr I am mad at me this is what I ate in one setting and I never eat this way.  Wentto texas road house with gf after dr visit,  I ate a darn ROLL yep with cinn butter grrrrrrrrr part of a salad, and a few peanuts and a half of a huge serlion choped burger type steak with cheese,  now isnt that toooooooo much food in one setting??  I didnt feel so good after I finally push the food aside.  I havent ate much in days due to being sick but dang that is like a whole meal before my surgery,  IS MY POUCH BROKEN:( or is this normal for 7 months out can any of you eat that much????? dang I was 171 this am I hope I didnt gain I will go back to the beginning of surgery and just drink protein. do a 5 day pouch test get my butt back to doing right. any one else eat that way Annrenee

I think I am alright     am I spose to beable to eat that much food at one time? Hugs omg  I am reading this book called pain free in 6 weeks what an eye opener everyone needs to read this book.

Annrenee, You are not suppose to beable to eat that much at once.  Did you drink with it?  If you did that is why you could eat more.  The liquid washes food out of the pouch and you can keep putting more food in.  This is how I suffered a 60lb regain.  Sounds like the pouch was working some though if you felt bad afterwards.  If you ate and felt no fullness/miserableness then I would worry otherwise I think you need to deal with the emotions of eating. darlene

THANK THANK YOU for your reply I had no liquids at all for at least a hour befor and nothing with the meal.. YOU are so right about emotional eating eating out of boardom you name it.  I new I wasnt spose to be able to eat that much and you know I am starving right now nauses I am so upset,  I cant believe I could eat like that it really worries me, I am calling my pcp in the am telling her what I ate, there gonna call me about apt with the gas doc. Annrenee, That is why I really got more involved in support groups.  I had some tragedies in my life (my brother dying, my dh almost dying, etc) and I turned to food instead of a support system.  I don't want that to happen to anyone else.  I have to lose 50 of those lbs again (I have lost 10) and then try to reach goal because I never did. I just want to be honest with you about where I have gone wrong and I hope it helps you. love, darlene
