First of all take a deep breath and relax!  You are way too early out to be able to feel when you are full.  Jello is a slider...it isn't dense so it is very comfortable going down.  Just remember to measure your food so that you will know when to stop.  Later on you will be able to feel it and won't need to measure as much because it will become second nature.  Try something like an egg if you want to see the difference in foods that are a bit more dense. Not everyone gets nausea.  I never did and hope never to.  You are most likely experiencing "head hunger."  I know that I really wanted a hamburger when I first had surgery.  Then as the feeling started to come back...I realized that hamburger would have been a HUGE mistake!!!  Try making some turkey chili.  It has great flavor and is the right consistency. The most important thing is to relax and take it slowly.  Make sure that you are sipping water as much as possible and try to make fluids your primary goal.  Jello counts as fluid so you are on the right track.  Keep sipping and walking and you are going to be a great success story! Congratulations on your new life! Freddie

You are fine. It is really normal not to get the "full" feeling on the liquids you are on because the can go straight through the pouch. Once you start to move to the mushy state, you will get that feeling. Just measure what you "eating" so you are not doing more than you should and take it in really really slowly so tour head catches up to your stomach.  The smells wil lget you. You are probably going through food withdrawal. It will get better. I drunk hot chicken broth to get flavor of food and something hot during your stage. Myabe that will help. But I never felt like eating or drinking so the fact that you do, is actualyl really good. You will be able to transition really well and be able to get in all of your fluid and nutrients. Good luck on your path to weight loss.

You may not experience the nausea and that is a good thing, Jello is like drinking water, therefore it is not going to make you feel full very quickly.  Are you getting in any protein? If you aren't, you may want to consider this in a shake form, it will help you get your 80 grams of protein in a day and make you feel fuller.  Welcome to the board and I hope this helps!!!
