I did something SO STUPID... ornament choice

I finally bought my ornament for this week's exchange.  But it was such a stupid choice.  I was at Starbucks, and saw a pack of three actual gingerbread cookie ornaments.  They were so cute...  and I said to Tim, that's what I'm getting to take to the exchange.  So I bought them, and later when I sat down to drink my cafe americana, he said "You are taking cookies to the exchange?"  I said, "Yes I bet these never make it on the tree."  AS IF I had made a good choice.  Retarded!  Hello!?  Melinda?!  You bought cookie ornaments for gastric bypass patients?  You idiot!  So I'm sorry to say that the cookie ornaments will not be going to the dinner this Saturday night.  I thought they were so pretty...  and a good deal for the money... THREE, count them 3, ornaments for the same price as what we were to pay for ONE ornament... YIPPEEE!  But it never even went through my head that hello? we cant eat them!?

hahahaha... sounds like something I would do! I love a good deal myself!  Maybe you can take them to work if you are doing something for christmas with them??

Maybe you can spray them with that clear coating stuff and they wouldnt be eatable and they can have a hook put on them and still have  them as a ornament. does that make sence. Annrenee
