I'm home and doing Great!!!
I am so glad you are doing well Tammy I don't know much about the LAP Band but I wish you the best of successes.
Though we are not RNY sisters we are indeed surgery sisters we will have to to hold on to. Whats your diet like.
I am on all liquids for 2 weeks then on to mushy foods for 2-3 week then I ease my way in to more substinence. I am so excited I have found I get real tired easy I am thinking its the Oxycodein (SP) but when I am between doses and after the little nap I am so wired.
Here is my meal since being home
Vitamins
Carnation Instant Breakfast
Beef/Chicken Broth
Crystal Lite
Jello

I still feel a bit lethargic but not hungry or any over eating pains yet so I am trying to measure everything to ensure I don't over eat later.

Hey Susan,
I'm back in the hospital, as of this afternoon. I got sick on Saturday after taking my meds and threw up and have been nauseaus ever since. I went to my PCP because I already had an appt with her and she called Dr. Dyer. Well, here I am dehydrated and low on potassium. He said I would be here for a couple of days.
As far as our diets go on the lapband. I had three days of clear liquids, 4 days of full liquids, 7 days of blended and then go to regular food. I only made it to the 2nd day of full liquids.
We are still surgery twins no matter which surgery we had. We can support one another in this journey of a lifetime. Good luck to you and I am here for you.
Big Hugs!!
Tammy P
