Thank you my sweet friend!!  I'm clutsey enough without getting dizzy...lol.  Sometimes a straight line is hard work! Oh to feel like my old self right now would be so great.  But, I know in the long run it's all worth it.   Hugs to you, Tammy P

Thank you Juanita!!!  I really haven't been all that soar or anything, just real nauseaus is all.  It seems like everything that goes in my mouth makes me that way.  I started full liquids today and I was hoping that would make it stop.  I wonder if anyone else had this problem. Thank you April!!!  I just cannot believe that I finally got to have the surgery.  I see it want be long till you're little Nicholas will be showing himself to the world.  That is so great!!  I am proud of you!!  I went and looked at the photos on our yahoo main board and I just couldn't get over how much weight you had lost.  I had followed your journey, because you posted on the yahoo board often, and seen the pics.  But to go back and look at them was amazing. Love and hugs to you!! Tammy P

Tammy ~ So glad you are doing so well. sorry about the nausea...hopefully that will pass SOON! I so enjoyed meeting you and Darlene and being there! I'm sure we'll see a lot more (or less!) of each other.  I've been a little out of the loop the last couple of days due to the computer being down (unplugged, cuz we moved furniture...) Anyway, I'm baaaaack! Talk to you soon! ~ Tara

Hi Tara, What a sweet lady you are!!!  I so enjoyed meeting you to.  I am looking forward to getting together with you and going to the support meetings.  I did get your number from Darlene.  So, I'll be calling you sometime soon. Welcome back and watch the computer cause if you're like me, it's my lifeline to the outside world.  Or at least to my baractric buddies!!! (((Big Hugs))) Tammy P

I am so glad you are doing well Tammy I don't know much about the LAP Band but I wish you the best of successes.

Though we are not RNY sisters we are indeed surgery sisters we will have to to hold on to. Whats your diet like.

I am on all liquids for 2 weeks then on to mushy foods for 2-3 week then I ease my way in to more substinence. I am so excited I have found I get real tired easy I am thinking its the Oxycodein (SP) but when I am between doses and after the little nap I am so wired.

Here is my meal since being home

Vitamins

Carnation Instant Breakfast

Beef/Chicken Broth

Crystal Lite

Jello

Water

Something like that

I still feel a bit lethargic but not hungry or any over eating pains yet so I am trying to measure everything to ensure I don't over eat later.

Hey Susan,

I'm back in the hospital, as of this afternoon.  I got sick on Saturday after taking my meds and threw up and have been nauseaus ever since.  I went to my PCP because I already had an appt with her and she called Dr. Dyer.  Well, here I am dehydrated and low on potassium.  He said I would be here for a couple of days.

As far as our diets go on the lapband.  I had three days of clear liquids, 4 days of full liquids, 7 days of blended and then go to regular food.  I only made it to the 2nd day of full liquids.

We are still surgery twins no matter which surgery we had.  We can support one another in this journey of a lifetime.  Good luck to  you and I am here for you.

Big Hugs!!

Tammy P
