What are you Thankful for?????

I thought that since it is Thanksgiving tomorrow, I would share with you what I am thankful for.  I am thankful for the obvious my husband, son, family, shelter, freedom, and my much improved health, not to mention a God that is forgiving and supportive.  However, one of the odd things I am thankful for is that God allowed me to become an obese individual, because if I had not been obese, I believe that I would not be the person that I have become today; loving, supportive, and dedicated.  I am thankful that I was obese and that I have been given the opportunity to become healthy with this surgery and tool, but mostly for the friendships that I would have never been blessed with, if it was not for my obesity.  Therefore Thanks to everyone for contributing to my life in such a positive way!!!! I love all you LOSERS!!!

I'm thankful for my friends, family, love, my health, freedom, God, a good job that's been very good to me, my OH buddies, and the opportunity to continue my education.

I am thankful that my husband is home this Thanksgiving, because he won't be next year. I am thankful that I have a family that loves me and is supportive, mostly. Thankful that my husbands job takes such good care of us, and that we are able to help others at this time of year. Also very thankful for a place to come to read stories, ask questions, and get advice from people who have actually been there instead of just "read about it."

I am thankful for my loving and supportive husband and two incredible sons! They are my life! I am thankful for my home and my freedom --- and those who protect my freedom. I am thankful for my family and John's family. I am thankful for Dr. Spaw and his staff --- for their hard work, encouragement, and expertise. I am thankful for Aetna understanding the necessity of this surgery and for being willing to cover it, and I am thankful for my husband's job that provided the opportunity through their benefits. I will be forever grateful for this wonderful experience! Not just the results, but the experience. The results go without saying --- I never could have done this w/o surgery!  But I also never would have met any of you without this experience. YOU are a big part of my experience --- and I am very, very thankful for each one of you. But, mostly, I am thankful for a loving, merciful God... who loved me enough to send His Son, Jesus, to die for me that I may have life --- and life more abundantly.  And who loves me so much, that in His perfect timing, He led me to this point in my life --- and I am beginning to live life more abundantly than I ever dreamed! May each of you be blessed this Thanksgiving! ~ Tara
