I have a surgery date!!!

I get my IVC filter on December 14 and then have surgery on December 21.  That puts me coming home from the hospital on Christmas Eve!!  I am excited...but also a little apprehensive.  The filter does help with my fear of am embolus though.  When I told my hubby a little while ago, I think he was floored.  He said that before now it wasn't real, and he wants to talk about it some more.  I think he is afraid.  I was really sick earlier this year and he didn't realize how serious it was until it was almost too late.  Please keep me in your prayers.  Also, what to drink the first few weeks???

Congrats on the date Marilyn!  This year instead of leaving cookies and mik for Santa, leave him a nice, cold protein shake!  What a Christmas present, a new lease on life!
