Guess what I'm getting for Christmas?
Well, I think the numbness has disappeared! I took someone's advice and pinched Beth! she pinched back and I could feel it, so the numbness is gone! I really want to THANK everyone for their congrats, well wishes and prayers! It is really special to have friends who care and support you in your decisions!
Like I said in my original post, there are things that scare me! Not the surgery, well OK, maybe a little. But I know that is normal, I'm not in this for a quick fix, I'm in this for the long haul! I'm scared of what certain people have up their sleeve! I just might have to call Daniel in for protection that week! Hey Dan, I know if you are reading this, you've got my back...right?
Beth thinks it's funny! I have a very good friend that I work with who is scheduled to be induced on the same day as my surgery. So, she has decided that when the harem dance of women start to My room, she is going to tell the nurse that my "girlfriend" just had her baby right down the hall!
So, I'm gonna buckle up my seat belt and hang on! It's gonna be a bumpy ride!
Thanks
Big Congrats Scott, I know the wait has been just awful for you. I know the mixed emotions that you are going thru and will continue to go thru. You deserve it for sure, you always have great advice and kind words for everyone. We will have to find someone to make you a loser's bench, you shouldn't have to make your own.........LOL That hospital will never be the same when you get out of there............HEHE. Hope you have a great day.
Cheryl.
