I have a date! (and a couple questions)

I had my surgery on Sept. 26th at Centennial.  I had a friend who stayed with me the entire time I was there and it was good to have her there.  I'm sure the nurses would have done anything I asked, but it was just easier having someone there that was only looking out for me.  The nurses seemed pretty rushed and busy.  When I came home I did not have help at all.  I stayed alone from the beginning and it was fine.  I had to have her stop by a couple of times a day to help with the drains and dressings, but I don't think Dr. Houston uses all those same things that Dr. Dyer does.  You will be fine.  Take it easy and relax.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences, as always I have found them very helpful in my planning. You're such a nice group of folks, thanks again.
