I finished my first 5K as half of myself!!!

I can't believe it. I completed my first marathon 5K today. It was for the Susan G Komen "Race for the Cure". I finished in 37:12 minutes. I have been working really hard this past month to work up to this. There was a big hill close to the end that I was not prepared for and could only jog half way up it and then had to walk the rest of the way to the top of the hill and then I got back to jogging. Except for that, I was able to complete the whole thing without walking. Jogging the whole time. Whoo Hoo. I just can't believe it. I just think about the fact that I could not even walk a mile in 30 minutes a little over a year ago without wanting to die and now I am jogging over 3 miles. What a long way to come. I have never been more proud of myself. It just does not seem real.  I ran into Karen there too. I know she is lurking.  She also completed the 5K. I have one more WOW moment this week. It has been a while since I have had WOW moments so this has been a good week for me. I actually saw 155 on the scale in the past couple of days. That means I have officially lost half of my body weight. I stared this journey at 310 and now I am down to 155 and have lost 155. I am half of myself (only on the outside though). I am now considered NORMAL by BMI standards.WHAATT-- me normal. YEP I am no matter what anyone says  .The only problem now is that I completed everything I wanted to (run a marathon and get a "normal" BMI). Now I do not know what goals to set or do. I guess I will think of something!  Uhh huh - oh Yeah -  I am doing my happy dance.  Thanks for everyones support on this board! You are all terrific!
