Welcome to the board and to the loser's bench. We do have a few posters from the Chattanooga area. Perhaps they will chime in here soon. They are also trying to get a monthly lunch group going in your area so watch for those posts.
Like everyone else has said, the soreness only lasts for a few days. The rest of the journey is worth everything you go through in the beginning.
