up date on stepdad w/MRSA
hey you all I could really use the power of prayer right now, My step dad has mental issues Bi-Polar and has MRSA again, both he and my mother had it a few months ago when I had to go to MI. My mother is really upset, she is trying to stay away from the hospital because she is so suceptical (sp) in getting Mrsa , I feel so helpless so far away. please keep us all in your prayers and I am asking god to guide me if I need to go back to MI to let me know, right now mom doesnt feel that we need to come. please just lift my family up in prayers.

The MRSA was in his big toe he had fell out of bed about 4 months ago bending that big toe toenail back it got infected they had him on three other meds and then he also devloped a UTI from being cathed and he is very sick they took the toenail off and are giving him meds IV, They maybe will let him come home next tue or wed if the MRSA gets undercontrol, BUT WHILE THIS IS HAPPENING MOTHER CANT BE WITH HIM BECAUSE SHE WILL GET SICK,she feels so bad ON TOP of all this my aunt was admitted to another hopital a few miles away with phemonia,congested heartfailur,anemic,mom said something else but she couldnt remember (I just lost my uncle)a couple of months ago. My mom is scared because not only what they have already been through but a couple of weeks ago my cusins GF dad went in the hospital for a hip replacement, got MRSA and died. The same way that my father in law died a few years ago, Its all over the news MRSA the superbug a kid got it and died a couple of weeks ago i think in NC. So everyone please becareful and use good hygine wash them hands and stay away of ones that are sick if you can take extra precaustions AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS............
