SF Strawberry Pie, Move over Shoneys!
Tonight, I took a few strawberries, cut them all up, added two spoons of sugar free strawberry glaze found at Kroger, then a few sugar free Murray shortbread cookies (which I found for 1.00 at Big Lots... they are normally 2.99 each) and then whipped cream. Yummy! It was soooo good. It is great portion control rather than making the pie. Then you are not tempted to eat more than just the small amount you fixed for a one time consumption.

Feel free to post it to your blog. I also make a banana split that is good.... but I would definitely not do it alot or often...
a little carb smart breyers vanilla ice cream (you can use choc or add both. I like both)
SF strawberry syrup
SF choc syrup
splenda sweetened pineapple
banana (cut small, about 1/4 or 1/3 of a small size banana)
whip cream
now, I will put a disclaimer on this. You can make your serving as big or as small as you like... and depending on what phase you are in on the weight loss journey, you might not even want to try it... especially if its a trigger food. But I make these for Tim who is trying to lose some pounds and has not had surgery. He loves them. I have some once in awhile. I am on maintenance phase though.
Sounds great Mel. This would make a very pretty dessert and people wouldn't even have to know it was lo-cal, lo-carb.
