WOW Moment, It's Been Awhile
It's been quite awhile since I had a WOW moment...
Several months before even THINKING plastic surgery was a possibility, I bought a Flexees one piece body garment with padded bra... but my tummy was so thick and huge at the panni area, I could not wear it. It would be like stuffing the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man into a pair of panty hose... while seeing the white fluff squishing out the sides... Got a good mental picture?? It only cost $12 at Penneys, on sale from like $50 so I thought someday I will find someone to give it to. A few days ago, I got it out of the dresser drawer and tried it on. OMG it fit! Not only did it fit, I had nothing sticking out. AND it made the "sisters" look a LOT bigger than what they are! I was so happy.
Then I took "the dress"... Shelia, Kym and Susan, its the purple one I got at the Goodwill and am wearing to the Bariatric Eating conference next weekend... anyway, took the dress to the dry cleaners at work. When the lady brought it out so I could pay for it after it was done, she said, "My, this dress is itty bitty!" Oh how those word**** me like a ton of bricks. Now let me just say, it took about 3 seconds to compute it in my brain... my thought processes went something like this: "She's saying that dress is itty bitty. I can wear that dress. OMG that means that I am itty bitty!" What? Me? So I just could not resist... I said, "Pretty good for someone who lost 130 lbs this year...." I just had to give myself a little affirmation at that moment. Can I get an Amen from the bariatric choir? lol
I would love to have seen the look on that lady's face when you told her how much you've lost. LOL
Tim is going to have to take a picture of you in that dress so you can post it. I know you look amazing in it!!
And, yes, you are itty bitty!
