update
Just wanted to update everyone on my Aunt. She seems to be taking a turn for the worse, and the pain in her leg is getting much worse. Doctor's and nursing home staff don't know if she will last much longer than a week, but the pain is evidently setting in. My mother has been visiting her at least 3 times a week driving from Hermitage to Clarksville to care for her friend and sister-in-law. Please continue to lift my aunt and my mother in your prayers. Thanks.

Hopefully they will be able to control her pain. She may wind up changing her mind about amputation as the pain gets worse.
I am keeping your aunt, your mom and the rest of the family in my prayers.

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
Thanks you for the prayers. I wish I could say that the amputation would work, but my aunt's doctor says that with her having 4 major operations since the late spring/early summer, the amputation would probably kill her. Things are not looking good. She's heavily sedated and the prognosis for her making it through the week is not good. My mom is spending as much time as she can with my aunt this week. Just pray for a peaceful delivery into God's hands.
