I'm STUCK!!!!

Help!!! after weeks and weeks of losing weight I am stuck at this weight. I haven't lost anything in 2 weeks. What can I do???? I have noticed I am losing the inches. I tried on dress slacks 3 weeks ago and couldn't even get them over my hips and now they fit losely. So I know the inches are dropping too but is there anything I can do to jump start my loss again? I just don't know what to do. The hair loss is slowing down. I had my hair cut really short, upped my protien and taking biotin everyday. Other than the stuck part I am doing good and getting better and better everyday.

Just keep doing what you've been doing. Your body is just going through one of those strange bumps in the road. You are still losing inches so your body is just holding on to the weight. One of these mornings you are going to step on the scales and get a very big surprise. I have had the scales drop 10 lbs overnight after one of these stalls. Hang in there, you are doing great!!

I'm only a few weeks behind you...and I've had several episodes of "getting stuck"....I think it's you body remembers a certain weight and stays there for a while....but it can only stay there temporarily if you keep doing what you need to...

Hang in there Brenda!  I'm having the same problem. I've been losing and gaining the same 3 pounds for the last SIX WEEKS!  It's driving me crazy! I lost 3 pounds this week and I hope it's not the same ones again. I'm hoping what Susan says will happen to me. I'm getting in all, plus more of my protein and water and I'm walking 14 miles a week. The only thing I've been doing differently is eating my protein instead of drinking it all the time. If this is what's causing my stall, then how will I ever be able to eat again. If anyone has any advice for us, PLEASE HELP!  It's depressing!

I know if I am doing the same things for a while, if I just change it up some, like the time of day and type of protein, it kick starts my loss!!  It is worth a try!! You will do it!! I did it! I broke through and lost 8lbs this week. Must have been due to the move we just made into our new home. Thanks Susan, you were right!. Think I'll start some weight training now.

Congrats Tonya. I know how you feel. I got in the scales this am and like over night I lost 7 lbs. I am tickled to death. I amlike you. Now I am gonna start doing different things that I didn'tdo before. Thinking about going to the gym here on base.

Yea, Brenda!  We did it!!     I don't know about you, but I weighed myself about 5 times and at least twice a day since I lost the 8lbs to make sure it wasn't coming back. It didn't come back!  We're doing it.......work this tool girl!  We're going to be fly next summer.  Take care and keep up the good work.
