Now that Beth has posted how much fun I had, I guess I should post also!  Anyway, I did have a great time today!  Especially meeting everyone, and talking to people instead of their pictures!  You guys and gals have no idea how much you mean to me!  The support and compassion that radiates from this group is phenomenal!  Whether it be form the "Centennial Yahooooooooos" (Thank you Cathy S. for the cheer leading! yells!), to Susan and her magic wand with blue streamers and gold stars, or Paula and her buttons for the Lunch Bunch (Thank you Paula for keeping me in mind!).   Anyway guys, you are the best!  Now that's out of the way...Pictures are posted on my FLICKR site.  Just follow the link below: Walk from Obesity 2007    To all my new friends and old, Keep doing what you do!   You Rock Have a great weekend!

Hey Scott, Great pictures, it was so great to finally meet the man behind the camera.  Just as I expected you are as friendly and sweet as the smile on your avatar.  I look forward to being able to make one of the lunch get togethers so I can spend more time getting to know all of the lunch bunch.  It was so great to see all the support that we give each other come alive in a walk like this.   Darlene

Scott, I am impressed with the beautiful shots on your photostream.  I look at all those antique cars just going to waste.  I used to play in a field in Michigan in old cars like that.  There's a lot of money in those, once restored.  It breaks my heart to see them just rusting away.  Are you a professional, or is this just a hobby for you?  Because  you are that good.  I am going to get my pictures made soon for the Christmas cards.  Most likely in November.  I want to find something to wear in the picture that looks great but also can be used for the holidays.  I loved the pics of the walkers.  Sure wish I had been able to go and not grounded because of my low blood counts. But better safe then sorry especially with my having surgery on Tuesday.

Love

Hey Kathy, No I am not a professional, just someone who enjoys my hobby!  I am creating a DVD of pictures for my sister-in-law and her group of cheerleaders.  she asked how much she owed me, and I said,"Just pay for materials".  See, this is something I enjoy.  I already have one job, who needs another? Have a great weekend!  Snappy

Scott, your pictures are worthy of a professional.  You might find down the road to take it farther and do freelance.  It's something to think about.  I love how you were able to capture the deer, a flower with a spider on it, but be able to make everything in the background a slight blur.  My brother started out running two Curves in the Hickory Hollow area, and was the same with his photos, it was a hobby.  Now it's a full time job.  They sold the Curves, and he travels to different places such as Loretta Lynn's home as they family hired him to take photos of the estate.  He travels with his son to many games as Joshua is in football and baseball, and takes photos of the teams, individual and as a group.  He did our first family reunion and the pictures were awesome.   I will check your site more often, I love your work.  Love Kathy
