thanks again

Good Morning!
Welcome to the board! We are a great bunch here. I went to Centennial, but had the RNY. Best decision of my life. I hear Dr. Houston is good. I had Dr Dyer, also good as is Dr Olsen. Do the seminar, ask questions and come back here and ask more. You will learn so much and it will help with the decision. Good luck on your journey.

Hey there Lisa, it seems we have a few things in common, besides the extra weight.......LOL
. Anyway, I had my lapband on 08/21 and Baptist here in Nashville, my doctor is Dr. Morton, he is wonderful. How is your progress going? I also noticed that you have 3 dogs, well I do to and guess what, one of them is a fiest. This is sooooooooooooo cool. Hope all is well and God Bless..........Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,
We had our surgery on the same day and so far I have lost 10 lbs. I haven't been able to exercise much due to a big fall that I had a couple of weeks ago and I ended up cracking my tailbone. Otherwise I am doing fine. My doctor is George Woodman in Memphis and to be honest he is an excellent surgeon but his bedside manner is not that great. I got back on Oct. 4th for my first fill.
My little Fiest is named Meiko and she is 14 yrs old. She is my little princess. I use to have 3 dogs but I just had my bassett hound put to sleep due to illness. I still have my half chow/border collie (Simon). My husband is telling me "we are not getting another dog." but when you are a dog lover you can really refuse them.
Good Luck on you WL! Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing.

Hi Lisa,
Good to hear back from you, I have lost 25 lbs. since 08/01/07 and have had one fill. I go back on 10/16 not sure if I will get another fill or not, sometimes I think I need one and then sometimes I don't. Checked out all of your pictures, they all were awesome, you have a lovely family. I am in the process of getting pics on here, but just haven't quite figured it out yet. I sorry to hear about your bessett hound, I am sure that was rough. My Fiest is Peaches and she is as sweet as one, well as far as I know, because I don't like peaches....:) When something happens around here as far as dogs, I hear the same thing from my hubby, guess who wins that argument......LOL. I wish you well on your WL, I can relate to you not being able to excerise, I have sever lymphemia in bog legs, so it is rough for sure. Hubby and I have joined the YMCA and went for the first time last week and got in the pool, that was great, figured that I wouldn't be able to get out of bed the next day, but it wasn't real bad...LOL. Anyway let's keep in touch with each other and see where this journey takes us. Did you know about the Losing2live event that is going to be at the Montgomery Bell State Park next year? I am not sure what all its about but I am planning on going, done "TOLD" hubby.........hehe. If you wanna check it out the web site is www.losing2live.com.
