I'm a few days behind, but I had to work all weekend and am just now reading posts! I also have Federal BCBS. I "stole" Susan's doctor, Dr Neaderthal. He is fantastic! I was very impressed with his bedside manner. He takes his time and asks all kinds of questions and will take the time to answer any you have as well. He is VERY thorough!
As far as a WLS surgeon, I used Dr Lynch at Baptist Metabolic Surgery Center (Baptist Hospital). He is also very kind and takes the time to answer all questions.
Just wanted to give you a couple options. Good luck on your search!
