Hi Jan, try broth, sf jello, apple juice, sf popsickles, wonton soup decafe tea, crystal lite, water. I know of others who had him and were happy with the results. By the way, your surgery is on my birthday, I'll be 29 again with 25 years of practice. That's a great day to have surgery. Reason why is I am a honeymoon special, mom got pregnant with me on their honeymoon and out I came 9 months later. So this is a day to celebrate, your having surgery, and my birthday. I know it's rough on the liquid diet but it's to shrink a fatty liver. Plus you may find like I did that I was on liquids for 3 weeks after surgery.
Don't forget broth from white soup beans, or pintos to help break up the boring liquid diet of jus****er or sf jello and sf popsickles. Just nothing solid. Broth from those Marchum chinese noodles is yummy. Just don't buy the chicken noodle soup from Dollar store for the broth, it's really yellow and buttery looking. I would buy the vegable soup, drain the broth off, save the mixture and add more water to them, same with chicken soup, save the noodles and add water to them, then drain off the broth and throw away the noodles. That way you can get two meals from the soups instead of just buying the broth, better tasting. You're in my prayers.
